How to tackle dry skin


The unpredictable city climate is causing damage to our skin. It’s become dry and it is also become itchy and you feel a burning sensation on your skin.  Many think that dry skin makes you skin look fairer but rather it makes it look to patchy and rough. Measures must be taken to avoid the burning sensation if the skin

  • Scrubbing of dry skin

It is important to keep your face hydrated. So, you must wash your face at least thrice a day. However, while cleansing it, don’t overdo it. Overdoing it will make the skin rather drier. It would also make your skin loose the important elements needed to keep your skin un-dry. It must keep the oil essentials intact in your skin. Also, use cleansers or scrubs with natural extract and not chemicals. Aloe-Vera extract or milk is ideal options.

  • Keeping the dry skin moist with natural ingredients

It is recommended to use avocado oil or lavender oil while taking bath to prevent dry skin. Also, utilise cold fat milk to on your skin. Take cotton balls and dip them in full fat milk and apply it to your skin. Scrub it on your face and your neck. This is effective enough and will help to get rid of dirt off your skin and also take good care of it.


  • Use of Olive oil

Olive oil has important fats such as Omega-3 fatty acids and Omega-6 fatty acids which takes care of the dry skin and making it soft.  It helps to moisturize the dry skink giving it a radiant glow. It must be massage in circular motions on the face and also on the neck. If not olive oil then coconut oil and sesame oil are other options to get rid of dryness.

  • Hydrate yourself well

It is essential to drink at least 10-12 glasses of water per day. This makes a point that your skin is hydrated well.  This also makes your skin look smooth, glow and radiant. It maintains the flexibility of your skin.

Opt for fresh natural juices or plain water instead.

  • Prepare-Apply face masks

A face pack with natural ingredients indeed helps the skin to look naturally glowing and radiant. You can use honey for this process of making a pack. At first, spread warm honey over your face and neck and allow it to be for 10 minutes before washing it with slightly warm water. To keep your skin hydrated, is essential for your skin to look glow and attractive. Also, cosmetics with a lot of fragrance should be avoided. If you follow the above pointers then your dry skin will surely get back to normal skin.
