Hiya lovelies! You all must remember when you were in your younger stage, your parents and family used to tell you to your veggies and fruits. But honestly, how many of us did it? We just wanted to escape from that torturous zone and dive into the junk food one. All grown up and, we still do that. But maybe this article will help you understand why your parents were right. Fruits are very healthy and make our skin naturally bright, glowing by cleansing it from the inside. Let’s see how.

The phrase, ‘an apple a day will keep the doctor away’ is actually very much true. That’s because, apple contains Vitamin C which helps in the repair and growth of tissues in our body. Rough skin, dry hair etc. are all due to the lack of Vitamin C in our body. It is also very effective to protect our skin against the sun and the polluted environment we all are exposed to. It also keeps the skin moisturized, increases the blood circulation and makes our face appear brighter and glowing. In addition to that, it can also help in getting rid of sunburn.

It can be used to get rid of the darkened skin of our knees and elbows. All you have to do is just apply the lemon juice on the affected area and leave it on for 20 minutes before washing it. It can also be used to brighten the skin. It acts as an antioxidant and increases the production of collgen which can not only help in getting rid of the dark spots but also, to brighten the skin naturally. It can also be helpful in the treatment of acne breakouts or the left behind scars of acne.
